- Use this for damping two-node cycles.
- Use it for amplifying feedback cycles with two nodes, in purple text.

Try the short code for the right arrow
xx1
try short code after colon: [icon name=”long-arrow-alt-right” prefix=”fas”]
When I viewed this page, I did not see the arrow, just the [short code] as above

T07: For my forum question 24/1/2026 and 20/11/2025
Here are the Font Awesome arrows that I often use.
e.g. class = fas fa-long-arrow-alt-right
Awesome font has a clockwise curved arrow. It curves from right to down. It is free – no cost. The other clockwise curved arrows cost.
Here, I have used CSS to rotate and shift this free Awesome font curved arrow. It is in the top right cell of the table.
The arrow was curved from left to down. Now it curves from left to up. Now I can use it in the bottom-left cell I have labelled node 4.

Hints for editing these tables
- Aligning the table centre looks best.
- Align each column to the left, centre or right.
- Use the code editor to change cells that include Awesome Font icons
- Check what the tables look like on my mobile.
- Find arrows by searching for “long-arrow”.
- Find signs by searching for “square” None here now 24/1/2026.
- Use the code editor to change HTML comments.
Two-node cycles need all three corner arrows
Three-node cycles are best set symmetrically using 2 curved arrows, or they can be set in a four-node layout using only one corner arrow.
For four nodes and more than four, you only need to use straight arrows.
